PerciGo was born in Perth, Western Australia, as an independent project by a local teacher. It grew from a desire to make high-quality maths practice accessible to every student without a paywall, a credit card roadblock, or intrusive advertising. Too often, educators find an excellent pedagogical resource only to find the most useful features locked behind expensive subscriptions.
Our mascot, Perci the Quokka, represents the resilient and friendly spirit of Western Australian students. His name is a shortened form of "Perspicacia"โa word representing the ability to think quickly and make wise decisions. While Perspicacia was a bit of a mouthful for a Year 1 student, the goal remains the same: helping students build the confidence to think fast and decide wisely.
Privacy & Transparency
In an era of big-tech data collection, PerciGo takes a different path. We prioritise student privacy by avoiding intrusive third-party tracking. We store no student data on our servers. By using a "Bring Your Own Database" model via the Google Sheets API, we ensure that teachers and schools maintain 100% ownership of their data. Students can even create local profiles protected by PIN codes, ensuring their achievements stay theirs, even on shared classroom devices.
Independent & Community Supported
PerciGo is built to be a reliable, zero-friction companion for every maths lesson. To keep the platform free and sustainable, we operate on a community-first model. Our priority is to provide a clean, high-velocity learning environment for students. If this tool saves you time or helps your students find their "maths spark," you can support its ongoing development via Ko-fi. This direct support helps us keep the site fast, independent, and focused on learning.
Aligned with the Australian Curriculum v9.0, PerciGo is built to be a reliable, zero-friction companion for every maths lesson.
